HEATH EASTON

Heath Easton has served as one of the Pastors at Drouin Presbyterian Church since January 2012. He enjoys spending his time preaching and teaching God’s word and proclaiming the good news of Jesus in public, small groups and one-on-one. He's also in to running, bush walking, bird watching, rock pooling, meandering about in his native garden, and reading super-fast-paced action novels.

Heath met his wife Melissa at Bible College. They were married in 2009 and now have one daughter and one son. Heath and Mel’s desire is to share their lives with people so they might see people come to know Jesus, and to grow as his disciples.

Heath grew up with parents who modelled him to a life of loving, knowing, trusting and following Jesus. He’s never known a day in his life apart from the grace and peace that comes from knowing Jesus as King and Saviour. 

Before entering full time ministry, Heath completed a degree in each of God’s two great books of revelation: creation and the Bible. He completed a Science degree at Melbourne University (majoring in botany and zoology) and a Theological degree at the Melbourne School of Theology and the Presbyterian Theological College.

Heath is a “Presbyterian” by conviction, not conception. He found his way into the Presbyterian church in his adult life, having grown up in Uniting, Baptist, Brethren and Anglican churches.
