Children

At Drouin Presbyterian we place a high priority on supporting parents in the task of raising their children to know and serve the Lord.  Proverbs 22:6 says, “Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it.”

Consequently, many folk within the Church are actively involved as coordinators, leaders/teachers and assistants in ministry to children, youth and young adults; indeed, many of the youth and young adults are also actively involved in ministry.

During the mid-year school holidays, Kids Plus will again be running for boys & girls Prep through to Grade 6.  Sunday school classes are provided each week following the 8.45 am service during school terms.  Kid’s talks are an integral part of the morning services and a crèche for young children is also provided for the second half of the 8.45 am service for those families requiring this facility.

Camping is always a wonderful way to build relationships, learn about God, and grow in faith.  Attendance at camps run by Presbyterian Youth in Victoria (PYV) and CYC Ministries is encouraged.
